From the Langdale ferry terminal drive up the bypass Highway turning left at the flashing lights at the top of the hill and follow signs to Gibsons. Stay with the majority of ferry traffic. Turn right at the lights on Highway 101 and travel 1 kilometer. Turn left on Pratt Road when you see the I.G.A., Wendy's and McDonalds on the right. Travel 1-2 kilometers on Pratt until it bends to the right and becomes Grandview. Follow Grandview Road straight to the end of the paved road. Look up to the right into the Cedar Trees to see Whispering Cedars Retreat at 1168 Grandview Rd.

From the ferry terminal drive up the bypass Highway turning left at the flashing lights at the top of the hill and follow signs to Gibsons. Stay with the majority of ferry traffic. Turn right at Hwy 101 and continue through Gibsons towards Sechelt. In Sechelt turn right at the 2nd set of lights onto Wharf Rd. Turn right at the 4 way stop sign onto Porpoise Bay Rd. Continue for 6 km till you see the Sandy Hook sign on the left. Follow Sandy Hook Rd. for 2 km. You'll know you've arrived at 6037 Sandy Hook Getaway Cottage after you drive down a long hill ending in a sharp right hand bend. Don't take the bend, just pull ahead and park. You'll see the cozy cottage hidden in the trees.

Ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale - 40 minutes
Drive north on Sunshine Coast Hwy 1 1/2 hours to Earl's Cove ferry - 45 min
Arrive in Saltery Bay drive 25 minutes to Powell River - ferry to Texada - 30 min
Drive 20 minutes from Blubber Bay to Gillies Bay on the West side of the Island - 4181 Gillies Bay Rd.
